dc.description.abstract [EN] This chapter reviews several relevant works about mathematical modelling for supply chain network design problems. The purpose of this review is to identify current and future research in this field and to propose a taxonomy framework for optimization of supply chain configuration models. We are focused on optimization techniques and meta-heuristics algorithms in order to design and/or redesign a supply chain. The research objective is to provide readers with a starting point for optimization problems in supply chain network design aimed at mathematical modelling researchers. We identify the research aims and classify the works reviewed by providing the benefits and disadvantages of them. Then, the further research identified is highlighted. es_ES
