La pintura a través del paisaje. Un tiempo en un lugar

Abstract

Este es un proyecto de tipología cuatro del Máster de Producción Artística impartido por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Esta tipología implica la materialización del objeto artístico, en este caso de obra pictórica. El objetivo principal es la realización de una serie de pinturas que tienen como tema el paisaje. En la primera parte veremos las referencias pictóricas y las claves conceptuales que sustentan el plan. Para abordar el tema, la primera condición es trabajar desde el propio paisaje, la realización de una serie de pinturas al natural, que son el germen del proyecto. Veremos, cómo de este trabajo previo surge un trabajo en el taller que hace referencia al paisaje de la memoria, donde en última instancia, la pintura y sus materiales se convierten en protagonistas. En definitiva, se trata de usar el género del paisaje como camino para explorar lo pictórico, para experimentar en composición y forma, en color, en texturas y materiales, en expresión, de usar las características del género para la investigación pictórica, demostrando así su actualidad y sus posibilidades plásticas para generar metáforas del mundo. En la segunda parte veremos las cuestiones técnicas al hilo de la realización de los trabajos: el soporte, la fabricación de los colores, las herramientas, la ejecución, y comentarios sobre los procesos. Seguidamente se mostrarán los trabajos realizados durante el máster, y se extraerán las conclusiones derivadas del proyecto.

This is a Project type IV of the Master in Art Production taught by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. This typology of Project involves the materialization of the art object, in this case making paintings. The main objective is to carry out a series of paintings whose theme is landscape. In the first part, we will see the pictorial references and the key concepts underpinning the plan. To address the issue, the first condition is to work from the landscape itself, performing a series painting from life, which is the seed of the project. We will see how this preparatory work leads to the work in the workshop referring to the landscape by memory. There, the painting itself and the materials became protagonists. Ultimately, the point is to use landscape genre as a way to explore pictorial matters, in order to experiment in composition, shape, color, textures, materials and expression. To use the features of landscape genre in the pictorial research, showing its modernity and its plastic possibilities to generate visual metaphors of the world. In the second part of the work, we are going to focus on technical questions that have arisen in the performance of the paintings: support, making colors, tools, execution...Then we will show the work done during the Master. Finally, we will draw the conclusions from the project.
