dc.description.abstract | This final degree project is focused on the possibility to expand the results and performance, for the three records, achieved in the previous theses, to other types of aircraft, not only for the Long EZ. The aircraft used has been the Cessna C-172 and C-180 with capacity for 3 and 5 passengers respectively. The algorithms of the three records has been implemented following the same reasoning as in the previous these but in a more efficient way. These algorithms have been expanded, not only for allowing the selection of the aircraft to reach each record, also they give as a result what the most suitable battery type is to fulfil them, from a database of KOKAM battery cells. In this way the best flight conditions for each mission is given in terms on weights, fuel used… The user of the codes also has the possibility to select the target for each mission, for example for the Record 1, it is possible to introduce the maximum velocity to achieve. At the end of this project, it was decided to encapsulate the entire inputs and outputs in a Matlab GUI, in order to make the program more interactive with the user and in this way is not necessary to run each program one by one, with the GUI all the results can be computed together. | es_ES |
