dc.description.abstract [EN] Corneal collagen cross-linking using UVA radiation and riboflavin has been recently developed as a treatment for keratoconus. It was carried out an ultrastructural and comparative analysis of corneas of New Zealand rabbits, cross-linked by riboflavin application and radiation exposure (X-link group), corneas that received only riboflavin application (Vit-B group) and control corneas that did not received any of the treatments mentioned (Control group). es_ES
dc.description.abstract [ES] El cross-linking o entrecruzamiento del colágeno corneal con radiación UVA y ribofloavina ha sido desarrollado recientemente como un tratamiento del queratocono. Se elaboró el análisis ultraestructural comparativo de córneas obtenidas de conejos New Zealand, entrecruzadas por la aplicación de riboflavina y exposición a radiación (grupo X-link), córneas que recibieron tratamiento únicamente con riboflavina (grupo Vit-B) y córneas control (grupo control)que no recibieron ninguno de los dos tratamientos es_ES
