Aspectos sobre la Variabilidad Temporal y Dispersión en Frecuencia del Canal Radio para Comunicaciones Vehiculares

Abstract

[EN] Channel variations over time and the multipath propagation cause that the received signal suffers both time and frequency-selectivity. In vehicular communications, the movement of both the transmitter and receiver makes that the channel variations and the Doppler spread be different to the conventional fixed-to-mobile (F2M) systems. In the context of vehicular communications, this paper provides an overview of the time-variability and frequency-dispersion effects based on available experimental results published in the literature. The most typical distributions used to model the amplitude variations of the received signal and their Doppler spectrums are described. The assumption of non-isotropic Doppler spectrum is also discussed.
