dc.description.abstract | To improve company’s simulator software to be capable of calculating, simulating and optimising interplanetary missions. More specifically, one of the objectives was to implement two global optimisation algorithms, Particle Swarm algorithm and DIRECT algorithm, into the optimisers part of company’s simulator where other optimisers are already coded. In parallel, to test and analyse software capability and requirements to be capable of recreating, simulating and optimising interplanetary missions, and improving it with the necessary changes to achieve that goal. Two real interplanetary missions have been used as test, Cassini and Rosetta. Some of those necessary changes include designing a flyby manoeuvre and modifying Kepler’s integrator. | es_ES |
