dc.description.abstract | This Thesis arises from the need to collect information on the different elements of electric vehicles as part of a global project, since it is planned to design and integrity create an electric motorcycle in the near future. It is for this reason that this document is intended to address the problem of batteries for such vehicle, among others as converters and electric engines. The energy storage systems are the weak spot of electric vehicles that are beginning to emerge as the market. Their limited benefits and high relative price, make tough competition with conventional combustion vehicles. However, there is growing social demand for clean technologies more respectful of the environment that the development of electric vehicles make it particularly desirable, at least for use in urban environments. The main aim of the project is to design a battery pack that is optimal for the operation of an electric vehicle. To do this, we must deepen the study of such batteries. First is to proceed to delve into the different types of the same we can find in today's market, we will study the requirements that are presented to us, and discuss which of them meet the required specifications for our particular case. Specifically, we seek batteries that are able to provide high specific energy with a high voltage, this is because the higher voltage to dispose of, lower will be the amperage, and therefore will be lower losses and higher transmitted power . In addition, it will be found additional features as a lifecycle as long as possible, that has no memory effect and that this burden can be effected as quickly as possible. Finally, we will proceed to present the results and conclusions. | es_ES |
