EL YO FRENTE A LA CÁMARA. CONSTRUCCIÓN DE LA IMAGEN MEDIANTE EL SELFIE Y EL RETRATO FOTOGRÁFICO

Abstract

[EN] This Final Project presents a study about the photographic portrait and the relationship with the current selfie. For that, we have done a theoretical research based on different artists and theorists who construct the idea of our project and a practical work where the ideas are reflected. The whole project revolves around two issues: firstly the power play that happens between photographer and photographed, where the first try to find the real facet of the first and not the gesture learned. In other way, the interaction of the subject with social networks and the visible image that gives of himself in them. To summarize, this report presents the objectives and the work we have developed over months with the conclusions that have been reached with this project called “The Self in front of the camera”

[ES] Este Trabajo Final de Grado presenta un estudio sobre el retrato fotográfico y su relación con el actual selfie.Para ello, hemos llevando a cabo una investigación teórica basada en el trabajo de diferentes fotógrafos y teóricos que vertebran la parte conceptual de este TFG y un trabajo fotográfico donde exploramos desde la praxis estas ideas. Todo el proyecto gira en torno a dos cuestiones: Por un lado el juego de poder que se produce entre fotógrafo y fotografiado, donde el primero trata de captar la faceta real del modelo más allá de los gestos aprendidos en los que este se refugia. Por otro, la interacción del sujeto con las redes sociales en la actualidad, en las que la proliferación del autorretrato y la exposición de la intimidad son determinantes a la hora de construir la imagen del individuo en las mismas. En definitiva, en esta memoria se presenta el trabajo, obejtivos y conclusiones a las que hemos llegado con el desarrollo del proyecto al que hemos titulado “El yo frente a la cámara”.
