IMPERMANENCIA: PRESENCIA E INMATERIALIDAD. ESPACIO POÉTICO A TRAVÉS DEL COLLAGRAPH

Abstract

[EN] This work part of the need to capture the Impermanence asinherent phenomenon to life, whose stream of creations, transformations and extinctions happens beyond our control. Life and death are inseparable part of the same eternal rhythm. Therefore we will investigate about Wabi sabi, a traditional Japanese aesthetics that stops at the transient beauty of the natural world and their appreciation for the imperfect and ephemeral. We analyze for it the criteria that best adapt their principles. At the same time, base don their aesthetic ideals, seeks to evoke a melancholy beauty through graphic work which include suggestive compositions of light and shadow, lines that born, bifurcate and disappear somewhere in the paper.At the same time that emerges a connection between nature and abstraction through the simplicity of the form. The background becomes figure and the figure in the background as two vital constants intimately intertwined seeking to get away from fixed structures. For it we investigate references at the conceptual level of production that covers various disciplines such as photography, ceramics, painting and engraving that lead us to reflection and/or eminently practical resolutions. We analyze the reasons that take us to use a Collagraph as an expressive médium and effective possibility after a long search of materials, in order to achieve transmit that mutability and natural degeneration of the expressive and aesthetic matter.

[ES] Este trabajo parte de la necesidad de plasmar con obra artística la impermanencia como fenómeno inherente a la vida, cuyo fluir de creaciones, transformaciones y extinciones sucede ajeno a nuestra voluntad. Vida y muerte son inseparables formando parte del mismo ritmo eterno. Por ello indagaremos sobre el Wabi sabi, estética tradicional japonesa que se detiene en la belleza transitoria del mundo natural y su apreciación por lo imperfecto y efímero. Analizamos para ello los criterios que mejor se adaptan a sus principios. Al mismo tiempo, partiendo de sus ideales estéticos, se busca evocar una melancólica belleza a través de obra gráfica en la que destacan composiciones sugerentes de luz y sombra, líneas que nacen, se bifurcan y desaparecen en algún punto del papel, al mismo tiempo que emerge una conexión entre naturaleza y abstracción a través de la simplicidad de la forma. El fondo deviene en figura, y la figura en fondo como dos constantes vitales íntimamente entrelazadas que buscan escapar de estructuras fijas y enquilosadas. Para ello investigamos referentes en el plano conceptual y de producción que abarcan diversas disciplinas como la fotografía, la cerámica, la pintura y grabado que nos llevan a reflexiones y/o resoluciones eminentemente prácticas. Analizamos las razones que nos llevan a utilizar el collagraph como medio expresivo y posibilidad eficaz tras una larga búsqueda de materiales, con el fin de lograr transmitir esa mutabilidad y degeneración natural de la materia expresiva y estética.
