dc.description.abstract [EN] Quality, understood as a Business Strategy, must turn into an essential part of any type of organization, incorporating their concepts, approaches and methods in any of their processes. Those methods include, as a basic element, the use of statistical tools. In this sense, SME require to update strategies to achieve higher quality standards that allow them to survive in increasingly competitive markets. This paper deals with implementation of Six Sigma concepts and methods in SME, presenting a case of application in a small manufacturing company. Each step of the process is presented, and its results analyzed. es_ES
