Abstract

[EN] Laila is an artistic illustration project aimed at children between 8 and 10 years, starring the female 9 years old character that gives name to the series. Although Laila was originally planned as something purely graphic and literary, educational intentions underlying the narrative story led to pose the project as something that goes a little beyond a series of stories for children.

[ES] Laila es un proyecto artístico de ilustración enfocado a niños de entre 8 y 10 años protagonizado por el personaje femenino de 9 años que da nombre a la serie. Aunque Laila se planteó originalmente como algo exclusivamente gráfico y literario, las intenciones pedagógicas que subyacen en la historia narrada han llevado a plantear el proyecto como algo que vaya un poco más allá de una serie de cuentos para niños.
