dc.description.abstract | Body surface recordings of bioelectrical signals by a modular Laplacian sensor are a noninvasive solution to study the physiology of human organs. The sensing part of a Rigid Laplacian sensor, whose electrodes are etched on a printed circuit board, cannot easily be disposed of and has limitations in its ability to record at curved surfaces. The objective of this work has been to develop a Flexible Laplacian sensor made up of a disposable sensing part with electrodes printed on a recyclable material by thick-film hybrid technology. Preliminary results show that recordings of a bioelectrical signal by the flexible sensor at a curved surface had higher amplitudes than those obtained from a rigid sensor. Moreover, the disposable flexible electrode is easily reproducible and cheaper to produce at an industrial scale. | es_ES |
