AUTORRETRATO PSICOLÓGICO. EL DIBUJO DEL ROSTRO CON LA PUNTA DE PLATA

Abstract

[EN] In this theoretical-­‐practical project I analyze the technique of the silverpoint, from its beginnings, through the treatment of its masters and into the evolution in the contemporaneity, in order to lead the realization of ten drawings made with the theoretical concepts of this technique previously assimilated. These drawings exposed are intimate and treat the subject of psychological self-­‐portrait. To do this, following the methodology used, I have mentioned aspects like, some elements of the drawing, a portrait in the drawing, the influences of which I have based, and the materials used. It is a thorough analysis of one of the most primitive and influential techniques at the beginning of art in the modern age. Despite having suffered a period of decline, it has currently become an artistic choice for many authors.

[ES] En este proyecto teórico-­‐práctico analizo la técnica de la punta de plata, desde sus inicios en la historia, pasando por el tratamiento de los antiguos maestros hasta su evolución en la contemporaneidad, para desembocar en la realización de diez dibujos realizados con esta técnica siguiendo los conceptos teóricos previamente asimilados. Estos dibujos que aquí expongo son de carácter íntimo y tratan la temática del autorretrato psicológico. Para ello, y siguiendo la metodología empleada, he mencionado aspectos como algunos elementos del dibujo, el retrato en el dibujo, las influencias de las que parto y los materiales empleados. Se trata de un profundo análisis de una de las técnicas más primitivas y de mayor influencia en los comienzos del arte en la Edad Moderna tal y como la conocemos. Sin embargo, y a pesar de haber sufrido una época de decadencia, vuelve a ser en nuestros días una opción artística para muchos autores.
