dc.description.abstract ALSTOM is a multinational company well-known in sectors as power generation, transport and electrical grid. In order to maintain its leadership, the company makes significant investment in R&D. During my internship, I have worked in the power generation sector, ALSTOM Thermal Power. This division designs, manufactures, and delivers solutions which allow customers to generate, eco-friendly, reliable and flexible power. With over 100 years experience supplying turnkey power plants worldwide, ALSTOM also upgrades, refurbishes and retrofits all components for existing thermal power plants to maximize returns on customer’s assets over their entire lifecycle. More precisely, I have contributed to the validation of rotordynamic aspects of a gas turbine (GT) from the ALSTOM thermal power plant portfolio. This activity has been carried out with the TTT-Rotordynamics team (Thermal Transverse Technologies) in Baden, Switzerland es_ES
