Cuerpo y deseo en el imaginario post-internet. De lo artificial en el culto al cuerpo en el ámbito deportivo

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo está formado por una serie de reflexiones teórico-prácticas entorno al carácter artificial del culto al cuerpo, desde la consciencia del posthumanismo, movimiento que abarca la idea de la modificación del cuerpo humano mediante medios tecnológicos y científicos, e internet como generador de nuevas culturas influenciadas por la estética publicitaria deportiva y el cuidado del cuerpo. El resultado del proceso creativo son piezas objetuales que muestran diferentes soluciones para traducir, por medio de materiales industriales y accesorios deportivos, la estética de las imágenes relacionadas con el ámbito deportivo y el cuidado del cuerpo que circulan en la red.

[EN] This work consist in theoretical and practical reflections about artificial character of the body worship, in the awareness of posthumanism movement that embraces the idea of human body modifying through technological and scientific means, and the Internet as a source of new cultures influenced by the sports advertising aesthetics and body worship. The creative process’ results are pieces that show different solutions to translate the aesthetics of the images related to the sports area and body care through industrial materials and sports equipment.
