dc.description.abstract The publication ¿Mechanical Behaviour of Materials: Simulation Problems is a useful guide to study different applications in the fields of Mechanics and Product Design. ANSYS software, based on the Finite Element Method, uses different types of elements to analyze structures, depending on the physical characteristics and the geometry of each particular problem. The publication contains 22 problems that are classified depending on each element type: bar elements, beam elements, pipe elements, plane elements, shell elements and solid elements. From these applications, students will learn how ANSYS works in a progressive way and at the end of the course, students will be able to solve any structural problem. es_ES
