RECUERDOS Y FOTOGRAFÍA

Abstract

[EN] When you become aware of how life escapes you, how quickly it slips away, that exact moment when your memories come to your mind. You come back to your past to make time stop and recreate your history. Based on that idea, in this project we intend to reflect on those moments from the present. This BFP (Bachelor’s Final Project) is an academic project that proposes to do a summary on some of the practices used during the three last years of the Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Different t echniques as photography, engraving, photoengraving, blueprint, transferences, painting and sewing have been presented in this project. Since photography has been the unifying thread, it was the starting point to elaborate the graphic -­‐ plastic piece, applyi ng all the possibilities of the materials corresponding to those techniques. Everything is united, bound to the memories, the course of time, the childhood, the family, the identity, among others. This project is structured in two parts: theory and p ractice. In the theoretical part, the techniques, their corresponding materials, and the relevant artists who have been taken as examples because of their works and researches are put into context and investigated. In the practical part, the pieces that co nstitute the project are elaborated. This is all performed by using the transferring technique (transference of images).

[ES] Cuando te percatas de cómo se te escapa la vida, de qu é forma tan veloz se escabulle entr e tus manos, ese justo instante cuando recurres a los recuerdos, r egresas a tu pasado para demorar el tiempo y recrearte en tu historia. Desde este concepto, el proyecto que aquí se presenta pretende la reflexión de estos instantes desde el presente. Este TFG (trabajo final d e grado) es un proyecto académico que propone hacer una síntesis sobre algunas de las prácticas realizadas durante los tres últimos años del Grado en Bellas Artes. D istintas técnicas como la fotografía, el grabado, el fotograbado, las cianotipias, transferencias, pintura y cosidos han sido abordadas en este trabajo. Aunque el hilo conductor ha sido la fotografía, partiendo s iempre de é sta elaboramos la obra gráfica -­‐ plástica, poniéndose en práctica todas las posibilidades de los materiales que a cada una de ellas le s corresponden y todo ello desde una percepción unida o ligada a los recuerdos, al paso del tiempo , la infancia, la familia, la identidad, entre otros. Este trabajo se estructura en dos parte s: u na teórica y otra práctica. La parte teórica, en la q ue se contextualizan e investigan diversas técnicas y sus correspondientes materiales, al igual que los artistas relevantes que se han tomado como referentes por sus trabajos e investigaciones. La otra la parte , la práctica, es en la que se elaboran las pi ezas que conforman la obra en sí . Toda ella se realiza con la técnica transfer (transferencia de imágenes)
