ARTE COMPROMETIDO FRENTE A LA NUEVA MANIPULACIÓN Y EL CONTROL EN LA SOCIEDAD DE LA INFORMACIÓN

Abstract

[EN] Trough the study of the information and its devolpment in society, it has been maken an investigation about the function which perform nowadays the information y the posibilties of use its communicative mechanism for the creation of an artistic speech. Through a theoretical, practical an hermeneuthical methodology, we can see the strategys used by the information industry for the creation of a public opinion which legitimizes domination politics, showing its predispoistion to the power. On the other hand, the intention is to study the new mechanisms of power which emerge inside the internet framework, and which enable an indulged global control over population. Starting off the selective informative practices and the new control stablished in the network, we have produces a set of artistic work. Using poetic analogies, like metaphors, warns the nexus among mass media and the creation of a public opination, and internet as a con - trol tool. An artistic discurs critic with mass media and internet as a point of reference is developed, enchancing the theme trough different mate - rials in search of new artistic expressions which enable different views and speeches around these concepts.

[ES] A través del estudio de la información y su desarrollo en la sociedad, se ha elaborado una investigación sobre la función que ejerce actualmente la información, y las posibilidades de utilizar sus mecanismos comunicativos para la creación de un discurso artístico. Con una metodología heterogénea se analizan las estrategias empleadas por la industria de la información para la creación de una opinión pública que legitima políticas de dominación, evidenciando su predisposición al poder. Por otra parte se pretende analizar los nuevos mecanismos de poder que surgen dentro del marco de Internet y que posibilitan un control global consentido de la población. Sirviéndonos de las prácticas informativas selectivas y del nuevo control establecido en la red, se ha producido una serie de obras artísticas. Utilizando analogías poéticas como metáforas se advierten los nexos entre los medios de comunicación y la creación de la opinión pública, e internet como herramienta de control de masas. Se desarrolla un discurso artístico crítico hacia los mass media e internet como centro de referencia, potenciando el tema a través de diferentes materiales en busca de nuevas expresiones artísticas que posibiliten diferentes visiones y discursos entorno a estos conceptos.
