PINTURA CONGELADA. FORMAS DE HIBRIDACION EN LA PINTURA CONTEMPORANEA

Abstract

[EN] This dissertation consist s of several pictorial works along with a written memory as a final reflection. Although technically these series correspond to different discip lines (painting, photography and video), we will try to give more v alue the pictorial side in all of them through of experimentation progress and reflection about the po s sible different techniques and discourse on the pictorial material. Especially, anything related to the alter ation of their physical state trough the freeze - thaw pro cess, where it ́s materiality, physicality and transience is emphasized. All t his is tackled in the confluence and alter nation of different tech ical me diums seeking some confusi o n, uncertainty and permeability of the traditional limits of painting among other d isciplines, while reflecting on the specificity of painting and its materiality

[ES] Este trabajo es un proceso constituido por varias series de obras pictóricas acompañadas de una memoria escrita a modo de reflexión. Aunque estas series corresponden técnicamente a distintas disciplinas (pintura, fotografía o video) , en todas ellas se intenta poner en valor lo pictórico mediante una experimentación y una reflexión sobre las posibilidades técnicas y discursivas de la materia pictórica. Especialmente, sobre lo que procura la alteración de su estado físico mediante el pr oceso de congelación – descongelación, donde se enfatiza su materialidad, fisicidad y transitoriedad. Todo ello es abordado en la confluencia y alternancia de diferentes medios técnicos buscando cierta confusión, indefinición y permeabilidad de los límites tradicionales de la pintura con las demás disciplinas, a la par que se reflexiona sobre la especificidad de la pintura y su materialidad
