"SHE IS PEACE". UNA ESCULTURA QUE EXPRESA LA REFLEXIÓN ÍNTIMA DEL PROCESO DE CREACIÓN

Abstract

[EN] "She is peace". A sculpture that expresses the intimate reflection of the process of creation, is the title of the project developed below and is the culmination of the knowledge acquired over the last four academic years in which the Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia has been completed. In these pages we find the development of an artistic work inspired by the connection between the artist and the creative process. Our artistic production aims to make the viewer a connection with the process of creation and the intimacy of the artist. This is to be achieved through a life-­‐size figurative sculpture, by means of artistic casting that represents this interaction. This document describes the approach and the realization of an artistic project, along with a brief contextualization of the work. In the first section we find the contextualization of the work which makes us an introduction to the nude as art work and then the state of active meditation is developed as a result of the technical process. On the other hand in the second half the own production is presented, developing all sections of the creation and production of the work.

Una escultura que expresa la reflexión intima del proceso de creación, es el titulo del proyecto que se desarrolla a continuación y es el broche final de los conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo de estos últimos cuatro años académicos en los que se ha cursado el Grado de Bellas Artes en la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. En estas paginas encontraremos el desarrollo de un trabajo artístico inspirado por la conexión entre el artista y el proceso de creación. Nuestra producción artística aspira a despertar en el espectador una conexión con el proceso de creación y con la intimidad del artista. Esto se pretende conseguir mediante una escultura figurativa a tamaño natural, realizada por medio de la fundición artística que representa esta interacción. Este documento recoge el planteamiento y la materialización de un proyecto artístico, además de una breve contextualización de la obra. En un primer apartado encontraremos el marco teórico de la obra donde se plantea una introducción sobre el desnudo como obra de arte y seguidamente se desarrolla el estado de meditación activa como consecuencia del proceso técnico. Por otro lado en la segunda parte se presenta la producción propia, desarrollando todos los apartados de la creación y producción de la obra.
