La infraestructura espacial de Yona Friedman. La utopía dibujada

Abstract

[EN] The spatial Infrastructure belongs to the utopian projects made by the avant-garde groups which were working in the sixties of the xxCentury. Yona Friedman was a part of them as a founding member of the GEAM. This paper will show how his prototype has appeared using graphical and written descriptions and the different denominations that it has had like big container in the beginning to megastructure at the end. This last term relate the prototype made by Friedman to the ones designed by Archigram and the Metabolist group. The Architecture designed by Friedman appears as drawings because he never built it, something that he has had in common which other avant-garde groups, but it has remained as an architectural object.

[ES] La Infraestructura espacial pertenece a las utopías dibujadas generadas por los grupos de vanguardia de los años sesenta del siglo xx a los que pertenece Yona Friedman como integrante del GEAM. En el presente artículo se expondrá, de forma gráfica y escrita, como aparece el prototipo desde sus denominaciones iniciales como gran contenedor hasta el término de megaestructura, que lo relaciona directamente con otros grupos de vanguardia como Archigram o los Metabolistas japoneses. La arquitectura de Yona Friedman queda como dibujada ya que nunca llega a materializarse, algo que tiene en común con la realizada por muchos de los grupos de vanguardia, pero se ha trasmitido como proyecto arquitectónico debido a su contenido teórico y gráfico.
