Legal part of the Big Data

Abstract

[EN] The big data is one of the most popular computer topics of recent years however, the legislation goes one step back. I have always been passionate about the Big Data world and so I have wanted to do a research project as complete as possible to make clear to all who read it how far the law regulates this new technology called Big Data. The laws that are going to be studied will be of European Union although, will also be seen the laws of many other countries. I also want to study Big Data in depth becouse it is necessary to build a good regulation in the future. I would like to come up with ideas for a good regulation in the future. We need to be all together to be able to regulate one of the most complexes areas of IT. Our privacy is increasingly disappearing and we have to put solutions right now. That is why this paper summarizes all laws relating to Big Data until 2017. In this document is going to study everything related to the legal aspects of Big Data until now, some cases of companies or the government and some proposals for improvements. The lack of information on this topic has been a drawback but, with the help of some experts, it has been possible to arrive to the end of the matter. In this project is exposed everything related to the legal aspects of the technology that is revolutionizing the world.

[ES] El propósito del trabajo es, primero aclarar qué es el Big Data y hasta donde comprende y una vez aclarado esto, estudiar todas las leyes Europeas que existan respecto a todo lo que comprende este tema. Además de buscar casos en los que, compañías hayan usado el Big Data de una manera no legal. Introducirse en cada una de las leyes que existen, estudiar que comprenden y que no y plantear qué nuevas leyes se podrían aplicar para cada caso.
