Olympia.La imagen como medio propagandístico en la Alemania Nacionalsocialista. Libro de Artista

Abstract

This project consists in artist¿s book creation based on Leni Riefenstahl¿s Olympia film, 1938. The book is divided into three sections, dealing with three basic aspects of the film and for each section an artistic work has been created that Once exposed and photographed is included in the book along with images related to the film and the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, as an intro- duction to the subject. Throughout the work we will talk about the art created in National Socia- list Germany, the propagandistic creation of the regime and other aspects related to the constructión of the image in this period of time. Everything focused on the main theme of the work that is the film about the Olympic Games in Berlin. In the development of the project will also unveil and expose the keys that make up the work and the references that have been made for the creation of the same.

Este proyecto consiste en la creación de un libro de artista basado en la pelí- cula propagandística Olympia de Leni Riefenstahl, 1938. El libro está dividido en tres apartados, atendiendo a tres aspectos básicos de la película y para cada apartado se ha creado una obra artística que una vez expuesta y foto- grafiada es incluida en el libro junto con imágenes relacionadas con el film y las Olimpiadas de 1936 en Berlín, a modo de introducción al tema. A lo largo del trabajo hablaremos sobre el arte creado en la Alemania Nacio- nalsocialista, la creación propagandística del régimen y otros aspectos rela- cionados con la construcción de la imagen en este periodo de tiempo. Todo enfocado al tema principal del trabajo que es la película sobre los Juegos Olímpicos de Berlín. En el desarrollo del proyecto también se desvelarán y expondrán las claves que conforman la obra y las referencias que se han tomada para la creación de la misma.
