dc.description.abstract | Generally there are two main groups of the short-term fading SISO channel models based on different channel environments: indoor and outdoor channels. The indoor channel corresponds to the small areas inside the building. In such areas WLAN are mostly deployed. Explain physical layer of IEEE 802.11n standard, with a focus on OFDM. Explain the two most popular general indoor channel models: 2-ray model and exponential model. Further upgrading of these models, which are proper for WLAN implementations, are IEEE 802.11 channel model and Salah-Valenzuela (S-V) channel model. Write a program to generate the S-V channel model and show the statistical distributions of main parameters of such generated channels. Describe the influence of the channel on the OFDM signal propagation. | en_EN |
