HABITAR EL TEXTO. UNA MIRADA SOCIAL

Abstract

El trabajo que presento bajo el título: Habitar el texto. Una mirada social es una reflexión gráfica sobre temas muy presentes en nuestra sociedad ¿violencia de género, refugiados, incomunicación social: suicidio-, que frecuentemente nos interrogan, apelan a nuestra conciencia como seres humanos que viven en colectividad, esperando nuestra respuesta. Entiendo el arte como un instrumento que permite poner en marcha el pensamiento sobre cualquier tema, dando como resultado la obra. Un entramado de deseos y acciones que se concretan. Una herramienta que comunica las pulsiones vitales de una sociedad mostrándolas, usándolas, haciéndolas suyas para expresar, denunciar... Y en este sentido está enfocado mi Trabajo Final de Grado, que parte de noticias de prensa sobre los temas arriba indicados, que a su vez generan nuevos textos poéticos y nuevas imágenes. ¿Habitar¿ textos de carácter social desde dos vertientes: el texto como pretexto ( la noticia encontrada), y el texto como arquitectura (espacio físico) donde se construye la imagen. El trabajo está inmerso en la obra gráfica, y lo constituyen siete estampas cuyas medidas son de 70 x 50cm (cinco); 66,5 x 48,5cm (una); y 56 x 44,5cm (una): dos linografías, tres aguafuertes (combinados con aguatinta y punta seca) y dos litografías.

The work Inhabiting the text. A Social View is intended as a reflection on social issues that are very present in society - gender violence, refugees and suicide-. These matters, appeal to the consciousness of human beings living in a community demand a response.

In my opinion art help us to communicate vital impulses. Art is an instrument that allows us to translate our thoughts into action on any subject, with the final work as the deliverable. This forms a network of desires and actions that are concrete and also provides social tools which engender a fairer society.

And in this sense is focused my TFG, that part of newspaper articles on the subjects indicated above, that in turn generate new poetic texts and new images. "To inhabit social-related texts from two viewpoints: the text as a pretext (the news found), and the text as architecture (physical space) where the image is constructed.

The TFG is entirely immersed by the artwork, which consists of seven prints measuring 70 x 50 (five); 66,5 x 48,5cm (one); y 56 x 44,5cm (one): two woodcuts, three etchings (combined with aquatint and dry point) and two lithographs
