UN ABSURDO ENTRE COMILLAS, TRANSFORMACIONES DE LO INCONGRUENTE MEDIANTE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN GRÁFICO-PLÁSTICA

Abstract

«Un absurdo entre comillas» es el título que da nombre a una serie de trabajos grafico-pictóricos, en donde se conjugan intereses devenidos del contacto con el entorno y la práctica en concomitancia con el carácter polisémico de las imágenes. La brecha temporal determinada por el encuentro con imágenes del presente y del pasado, pone a la disposición de este trabajo la posibilidad de crear asociaciones constelares que, desde el arraigo personal, tratan de determinar apreciaciones que giran en torno al humor, el error y el fracaso. Consideraciones que desestabilizan y transforman el sentido, determinadas por una experiencia dedicada al «absurdo» esfuerzo de continuar en la búsqueda de un inalcanzable.

«An Absurd with Quotes» is the title of a series of pictorial and graphic works, where concerns about the influence of the environment and the practice, and the polysemic nature of the image, are combined. Temporal gap provoked by the encounter between images from the present and the past makes possible, within these works, the creation of a constellation of associations. From a personal attachment to those associations, the series of works try to find and highlight observations around humour, error and failure. Meanings are, then, destabilised and transformed, determined by an experience devotee to the "absurd" effort to the search for the unreachable.
