Bestiario doméstico: lo primitivo en la obra del Taller de Arquitectura

Abstract

[ES] LA ARQUITECTURA YA NO EXISTE: Solo ciudades impersonales, sin descripción ni estilo, sobre las cuales jamás nadie ha soñado o anhelado. Así da comienzo el manifiesto del colectivo multidisciplinar formado por Ricardo Bofill en la década de los 60: el Taller de Arquitectura. Partiendo de "lo primitivo" como concepto antropológico fundamental en la filosofía del taller, se propone un recorrido semántico a través de temas reiterativos en toda su obra: la comunidad, el espacio único, la geometría, el color... Ideas que darán lugar a obras únicas, ancladas en un pasado con visión de futuro.

[EN] ARCHITECTURE NO LONGER EXISTS: Only impersonal cities, without description and without style which nobody has ever dreamt or desired. So thus the manifestation of the multidisciplinar collective created by Ricardo Bofill in the 60's begins: the Taller de Arquitectura. Beginning from "the primitive" as an anthropologic concept essential in the Taller's philosophy, there is proposed a semantic tour around the reiterative themes in all of their work: the community, the unique space, the geometry, the color... Ideas that will give room to incomparable works, tied in a past with a future view.
