The aim is to measure the impact on the correlation level of holistic competencies of innovation in The learning process based on entrepreneurship. To achieve this, experimental, transactional, correlational, and descriptive research was conducted with a sample of 88 individuals. A methodology for aligning emotional neural patterns was applied. Symmetric and asymmetric models belonging to the ARCH family were used. They were applied to three bean varieties for eight Mexican markets. The results showed a high persistence of volatility in pinto and black beans, the persistence is bigger in local markets than in those with different point of origin and destination. Ranches produce up to three products (beef, sheep-meat, and wool) usually combined into an equivalent meat (EM) index. The objective is to compare the empirical results from the estimation of a single output stochastic production frontier (SPF) and a multi-output stochastic ray frontier (SRF) to provide insights on the useof the EM index to evaluate ranches performance. Results show similar efficiency scores. The average level of TE is 0.769 for the SPF and 0.779 for the SRF. The objective of this article is to explore the productive, commercial and management strategies of small-scale vegetable growers at the SMR, their attitudes towards their activity, and to identify different profiles. We surveyed in person 170 farmers. The data was analyzed using descriptive and multivariate techniques. Results suggestthat different characteristics and strategies are concomitant to certain attitudes that vegetable growers hold towards key aspects such as innovation or willingness to associate.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Farm size and productivity in Nicaragua: Parametric and nonparametric analyses for panel data(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2022-06-22) Almeida, Alexandre Nunes; Bravo-Ureta, Boris E.[EN] This paper examines the inverse relationship hypothesis (IR-H) between farm size and agricultural productivity in Nicaragua using parametric and nonparametric methods designed specifically for panel data. The data employed are from the World Bank s Living Standards Measurement Study for the years 1998, 2001 and 2005. The analysis reveals strong support for the IR-H based on a number of alternative parametric specifications. The results from the nonparametric models lend partial support to the IR-H,and such support is weaker than what is obtained from the parametric models, particularly among medium and large landholders.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Agroecología para la seguridad alimentaria y frente al cambio climático en Perú(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2022-06-22) Quispe Conde, Yésica; Locatelli, Bruno; Vallet, Améline; Blas Sevillano, Raúl[EN] This study evaluates the contribution of agroecology to food security, resilience and mitigation of climate change in family farming, in the Mariño basin (Peru). We use the three principles of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) as an analytical framework. We carry out surveys and measurements in the field, evaluating three principles, 10 criteria and 12 indicators. We found that the application ofagroecological practices improves food self-sufficiency and family income and reduces antagonisms or increases synergies between productivity and adaptation or mitigation. This suggests that agroecology can help achieve simultaneously the often-conflicting goals of Climate Smart Agriculture.
