L’intent de crear un teatre valencià a la Renaixença(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2020-11-30) Sales i Baviera, Joana[EN] In the 19th century, the Renaixença played a very important role in the recovery of the vernacular literary arts in both Catalonia and the Valencian Country, although in Valencia with less scope. The success of Catalan cult theater finds no equivalent in Valencia. In Valencia, the attempt to remove the language from the family nucleus, to cultivate it and leave it imprinted in the dramatic genre, was not an easy task.The Teatre Russafa in Valencia was the main spectator of the attempts that were made to create a Valencian Theater and how the sainete achieved this little led by the author Eduard Escalante. We have taken a tour of the newspapers of the time that have revealed to us manifestos, opinions and concerns of the moment which we will see repeated over the years and will give us a vision of why the valencian theater could not consolidate as it happened in the Principatily.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Gestión del patrimonio y educación patrimonial en contexto local. El caso de la Fuente de los pescados de Tresguerras en Jiquilpan, Michoacán, México(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2020-11-30) Moreno Nava, Ignacio[EN] The undervaluation of cultural heritage at the local level is a widespread problem. The case of the Fuente de los pescados de Tresguerras in Jiquilpan, Michoacán, Mexico had as a general objective to deepen the history of the monument and its creator using the qualitative methodology, specifically the consultation and contrast of documentary sources, based on a situational diagnosis and analysis of the problem together with the target population, aligning with plans and programs at different levels based on the paradigm of cultural democratization. Among the findings, data emerged to rectify information on the assets analyzed, know its historical - geographical context and add it to the listings of Tresguerras' works. Information was generated with the potential to integrate into a model of heritage education based on the didactics of the object, emphasizing the deepening of research with a view to the future to use computer tools that allow taking advantage of these contents.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Nueva perspectiva de análisis metodológica en las redes culturales. Análisis de una red cultural transnacional en Berlín(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2020-11-30) Jaimes Aldave, Carmen[EN] This research analyzes the specificity and potential of cultural networks through a mixed methodology, based on qualitative research, network analysis, and project management tools. The work of cultural agents as active actors and mediators between organizations and cultural groups is highlighted. The first observations show the high level of belonging to multiple external networks of the same actors, which was initially believed to be a risk for the survival of the same network over time. A broader network analysis identified the benefits and positive impacts of network multi-membership, especially in the exchange of information and resources in the shortest time possible.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Democracia cultural y giro curatorial: Naves Matadero-Madrid(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2020-11-30) Ramos Pérez, Alfredo J.[EN] The curatorial turn has a very recent development in the field of performing arts. This curatorial turn raises important debates to change how we understand the management of the performing arts institutions, whether in festivals, theaters or other facilities. This work will analyze which are the axes of work that arise from the curatorial turn, its relationship with the cultural democracy agenda and how the experience of Naves Matadero, in Madrid, illustrates some of these axes.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Investigación de mercado en cultura: una herramienta clave para la gestión de las artes(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2020-11-30) Algán, Raúl S.; Berstein, Brenda S.[EN] Market research, a tool commonly used from marketing to business in a broad variety of sectors, is also of great use for cultural managers when it comes to diagnosing their projects. The aim of this article is to systematize recommendations, to debate about possible areas of study inside the market of the cultural sector. After reviewing previous studies and by direct experienced-based observation, this work explores possible ways of developing a research of this kind applicable to the objectives of a cultural project. Given that there is still no corpus originated from a Latin-American source, foreign texts are consulted to create implications that are practical and appropriate to our symbolic production. It is expected that this work sparks new debates on the topic considering its central and original approach.
