Análisis de la viabilidad técnica y económica de un proyecto de mejora en la sección tratamientos térmicos de una fábrica de engranajes ubicada en Gdansk, Polonia

[ES] Con el objetivo de incrementar la productividad actual de los procesos de tratamientos térmicos, la empresa se está planteando la mejora y renovación de las infraestructuras y equipamiento actualmente operativos. Con el presente proyecto se establecerá una metodología que ayude a la empresa al análisis de las diferentes alternativas de mejora, teniendo en cuenta aspectos como la digitalización o la mejora del OEE, para abordar posteriormente un análisis técnico y económico más detallado de las mejores alternativas, a partir de la formulación de varios escenarios para determinar la sensibilidad de cada una de las alternativas a los cambios en el entorno.

[EN] This paper deals with a facility that manufactures gears for the automotive industry according to the specifications set by this industry. The facility is located in Gdansk, Poland, and annually turns over around 500,000 different gears. The facility requires a team to carry out the various heat treatments required. This team must be in charge of carburising, hardening and tempering the different gears to be manufactured. An analysis will be made of the equipment and machines necessary to carry out the aforementioned tests. Once the cost of investment in these machines has been established, it will be determined when this investment will be recovered. Finally, the results will be analysed and it will be determined whether the investment in the heat treatment equipment will be profitable or whether it should be rejected.
