Inti Raymi del pueblo Cañari

Abstract

[EN] This article narrates the different artistic interventions of the members belonging to the indigenous communities of the Cañari culture developed in the festivity of Inti Raymi of the Cañari people, where different cultural elements that are part of the experience such as music, dance, agriculture; as well as the collective imaginary expressed by the Cañari indigenous leaders are made visible. The research method used is qualitative; exploratory scope and micro ethnographic design. The results show the importance of the vindication and conservation of indigenous ancestral traditions as well as the importance of protecting the different expressions through the recognition of invaluable cultural heritage.

[ES] El presente artículo narra las diferentes intervenciones artísticas de los miembros pertenecientes a las comunidades indígenas de la cultura Cañari desarrolladas en la festividad del Inti Raymi del pueblo Cañari, en donde se visibiliza diferentes elementos culturales que forma parte de la vivencia como la música, danza, agricultura; también, el imaginario colectivo expresado por los lideres indígenas cañaris. El método de investigación empleado es de carácter cualitativo; alcance exploratorio y diseño micro etnográfico, como resultados se evidencia la importancia de la reivindicación y conservación de las tradiciones ancestrales indígenas, también la importancia de proteger las diferentes expresiones mediante el reconocimiento de patrimonio cultural invaluable.
