On Site_Paisaje entre muros: Agrocenter + Agromuseo + Centro culinario

Abstract

[ES] Enmarcado en el borde norte de Valencia, encontramos un territorio rico en tradición y cultura, como es la huerta, sumido en la incertidumbre que trae consigo la expansión urbana. Así mismo, los trazados de la V-21 y el ferrocarril de Barcelona, elevan el riesgo de exclusión de este territorio respecto al resto de la huerta norte, dificultando su accesibilidad y convirtiéndolo, por tanto, en un paisaje vulnerable que poco a poco va aceptando su extinción. Como desafío, volver a conectar la ciudad con la huerta, recuperando la continuidad de los caminos históricos de Vera y Farinós, permeabilizando unos trazados a priori infranqueables, y generando nuevos ejes asociados a los elementos históricos que lo hagan accesible y permitan que la huerta norte valenciana vuelva a ser recorrida. Por otro lado desde el punto de vista social, la descontextualización, la diversidad cultural y económica, hacen de la labor en el campo una situación cada vez menos sostenible, generando así un problema de relevo generacional a los agricultores. Como propuesta para revertir esta problemática, se plantea una intervención que comprenda al protagonista de esta historia; la huerta, la ponga en valor y la reactive por medio de una actuación de regeneración urbana y social, a través de equipamientos de atracción, que interactúen con ella y con los elementos preexistentes que la caracterizan, como la red de acequias que la abastece o las arquitecturas tradicionales que la hacen habitable. El proyecto se concibe como un conjunto de arquitecturas diseminadas en el lugar, cuyos usos y ubicaciones responden a la relación de huerta-ciudad. De este modo, ubicado todo el conjunto en torno a los ejes de la acequia de Vera y el Camino de Vera, encontramos un programa ocio-comercial más vinculado a la ciudad, compuesto por mercado de proximidad y centro culinario/restaurante, y un programa más formativo, compuesto por agrocenter y agromuseo, vinculado a la huerta. Genera así un programa cíclico de creación y consumición que incorpora ciudad y huerta, haciéndolos trabajar como un territorio sólido que conserva su identidad mediante la tradición y descubre nuevas cualidades mediante la innovación.

[EN] Framed on the northern edge of Valencia, we find a rich territory in tradition and culture, such as the vegetable garden, mired in the uncertainty that urban expansion brings. Likewise, the routes of the V-21 and the Barcelona railway, raise the risk of exclusion of this territory in regard to the rest of the northern orchard, hindering its accessibility and therefore making it a vulnerable landscape that little by little is going accepting its extinction. As a challenge, reconnecting the city with the orchard, recovering the continuity of the historical paths of Vera and Farinós, making pervious routes impossible to pass, and generating new axes associated with the historical elements that make it accessible and allow the northern orchard Valencian to be visited again. On the other hand, from a social point of view, decontextualization, cultural and economic diversity, make work in the field an increasingly less sustainable situation, thus generating a generational change problem for farmers. As a proposal to reverse this problem, an intervention is proposed that includes the protagonist of this story; the orchard, putting it in value and reactivating it through an urban and social regeneration action, through attraction equipment, that interacts with it and with the pre-existing elements that characterize it such as the network of ditches that supply it or the traditional architectures that make it habitable. The project is conceived as a set of architectures scattered in the place, whose uses and locations respond to the orchard-city relationship. In this way, located the entire complex around the axes of the Vera ditch and the Camino de Vera, we find a leisure-commercial program more linked to the city, consisting of a local market and a culinary center/ restaurant, and a program more formative, made up of agrocenter and agromuseum, linked to the orchard. Thus, it generates a cyclical program of creation and consumption that incorporates the orchard and the city, making them work as a solid territory that preserves its identity through tradition and discovers new qualities through innovation.
