[EN] We study the oscillations of viscoelastic drops for the case of small-amplitude. To model the behaviour of the material we will use the 8-constant model. We will obtain, after the linearisation, a liquid which dynamic viscosity depends on the frequency. Then, the next analysis will yield the characteristic equation for the complex frequency. The damping rate (real part of the solution) and the oscillation frequency (complex part) are found to depend on both the quantities found for Newtonian liquid behaviour and the relaxation ( 1) and deformation retardation ( 2) time scales involved in the viscoelastic material law. Finally, we study the resonance frequencies of droplets made with different substances of different values of elasticity and viscosity.
