[EN] In the third decade of the 20th century the block with perimeter building and free interior space constructs in Hamburg a model of modern city where the street maintains its spatial value and green is converted into the main element of the urban structure. Of the housing buildings built at this time, the Paul A.R. Frank block on Heidhörn Street, the first housing system grouped with access corridors in Germany, is highlighted in this article as an example of the contribution of this city to an architectural modernity that finds through systematization and utility its main values

XX la manzana con edificación perimetral y espacio interior libre construye en Hamburgo un modelo de ciudad moderna donde la calle mantiene su valor espacial y el verde se convierte en el elemento principal de la estructura urbana. De los edificios de vivienda construidos en este momento se destaca en este artículo el bloque de Paul A. R. Frank en la calle Heidhörn, primer sistema de vivienda agrupada con corredores de acceso en Alemania, y ejemplo de la contribución de esta ciudad a una modernidad arquitectónica que encuentra en la sistematización y la utilidad sus principales valores.
