Estudio de Impacto Ambiental de la Ampliación del Puerto de Gandía

Abstract

[ES] En este Trabajo de Final de Grado, se pretende realizar un Estudio de Impacto Ambiental sobre el proyecto de ampliación del puerto de Gandía. Para ello la evaluación de impacto se realizará en base a la legislación de impacto ambiental y a criterios técnicos. Se prevé evaluar los posibles efectos significativos que generará sobre el medio ambiente la realización de dicha ampliación. Además, se adoptarán las decisiones más adecuadas para prevenir y minimizar dichos efectos. En primer lugar, se va a estudiar la localización, la descripción general del proyecto y la descripción de las acciones del proyecto en la fase de construcción, de funcionamiento y de abandono. En segundo lugar, se va a efectuar un examen de alternativas con una selección previa de la opción seleccionada. Después, se va a realizar el inventario ambiental de la zona de estudio con la descripción de los factores ambientales del ecosistema, sus relaciones y la cartografía de dichos factores. En tercer lugar, se van a identificar, describir y valorar los posibles efectos ambientales para cada fase del proyecto y para cada alternativa propuesta. Luego, se van a definir las medidas protectoras y correctoras para tratar de evitar, mitigar, compensar o restaurar estos posibles efectos y poder escoger la alternativa que menos efectos ambientales vaya a generar. Por último, se va a realizar el programa de vigilancia ambiental y un documento de síntesis con lo más relevante del proyecto.

[EN] In this Final Degree Project, it is intended to carry out an Environmental Impact Study on the expansion project of the port of Gandía. For this, the impact assessment will be carried out based on environmental impact legislation and technical criteria. It is planned to evaluate the possible significant effects that the implementation of said expansion will generate on the environment. In addition, the most appropriate decisions will be adopted to prevent and minimize said effects. In the first place, the location, the general description of the project and the description of the project actions in the construction, operation and abandonment phase will be studied. Secondly, an examination of alternatives will be carried out with a previous selection of the selected option. Afterwards, the environmental inventory of the study area will be carried out with the description of the environmental factors of the ecosystem, their relationships and the cartography of said factors. Thirdly, the possible environmental effects for each phase of the project and for each proposed alternative will be identified, described and assessed. Then, the protective and corrective measures will be defined to try to avoid, mitigate, compensate or restore these possible effects and to be able to choose the alternative that will generate fewer environmental effects. Finally, the environmental monitoring program and a summary document with the most relevant aspects of the project will be carried out.
