[EN] The objective of this thesis is to analyze and compare techniques for knowledge representation. The existent techniques from literaturewill be reviewed and the purposes of knowledge representation in the praxis will be identified.Suitable criteria for the selection of the appropriate techniques for each purpose will be defined. The expected output is a classification of knowledge representation techniques that supports the selection towards the most suitable technique for each purpose according to the established criteria.
