Lean manufacturing: herramienta para mejorar la productividad en las empresas

Abstract

[EN] The following article aims to show the importance of l"Lean Manufacturing" on industries as a new method which helps to improve the productivity and efficiency of operations and activities in enterprises, moreover it shows how the tools and techniques of this methology help to achieve these objectives. It is important to note that the increase of productivity brings, among other things, a reduction in manufacturing time which leads to decrease the level of costs that would benefit any company. In the same way, it is important to be aware of the possible issues that may show up during the implementation of the some lean manufacturing tools.

[ES] El siguiente artículo tiene como finalidad dar a conocer la importancia que tiene el lean manufacturing en la industria para mejorar la productividad y eficiencia en las empresas; así como pone de manifiesto las herramientas y técnicas Lean utilizas para cumplir con estos objetivos. Cabe resaltar que un aumento de la productividad trae consigo, entre otras cosas, una disminución en el tiempo de fabricación, por ende menores costes lo que beneficiaría a cualquier tipo de empresa.

Del mismo modo también es importante conocer los posibles problemas con los que uno se puede encontrar al implementar alguna de las herramientas del lean manufacturing.
