Análisis estructural del Edificio Quorum de la UMH, Javier García Solera

Abstract

[ES] El edificio Quorum de la Universidad Miguel Hernández, proyectado por el arquitecto Javier García Solera, destaca estructuralmente por el uso de grandes voladizos además de una gran precisión en la ejecución de la obra. Este detalle estructural, los voladizos, serán el centro del trabajo de análisis de esta estructura, y las soluciones empleadas para sostenerlos, a través del análisis del modelo informáticamente y la identificación de las cargas que sustenta. Para así poder después examinar la respuesta de los elementos estructurales. Se pondrá especial atención en la descripción estructural del edificio modelando en Architrave®Diseño y calculando gracias a Architrave® Cálculo, para después prestar mayor atención a elementos como forjados y muros laterales, muy importantes en este proyecto.

[EN] The Quorum building of the Miguel Hernández University, designed by the architect Javier García Solera, stands out structurally for the use of large cantilever and a high precision in the execution of the work. This structural detail, the cantilevers, will be the center of the work of analyzing this structure, and the solutions used to support them, through the execution of the computer model and the identification of the loads it supports. After, we would analyze the response of the structural elements. Particular attention will be given to the structural description of the building by modeling in Architrave® Design and calculating thanks to Architrave® Calculus, and then paying more attention to elements such as slabs and side walls, very important in this project.
