Estructuras de lo ausente en la práctica plástica actual

Abstract

[EN] The Scottish anthropologist Victor Turner points out three main characteristics in the concept of liminality: ambiguity, invisibility and lack. An indeterminacy that influences the sense of identity of the object it addresses, dissolving it to some extent and, in many cases, leading to disorientation. For this congress I present the analysis of a series of structures of plastic and visual creation where the concept of: liminality, body and space are related leading to a frail and subtle (suspicious) materialization of the artistic product. In this paper I analyse, with different examples and references, the means of the creative-plastic process that generate, through the artistic practice, a body as well as an infinitely, malleable and strange place, where the mediator or representational sign is replace by a true and proper one, a subjectivity that indicates the combination of exclusions, where the non-landscape, non-architecture conforms the deixes, as Rosalind Krauss calls it, to that series of displacements that generate the axiomatic structures of the partial reconstruction of a designated site, which is recreated through the own experience as if it was a mirror.

[ES] El concepto de liminalidad se caracteriza por la ambigüedad, la apertura y la indeterminación. Influye en el sentido de identidad del objeto que aborda, disolviéndolo en cierta medida, dando lugar en muchas ocasiones, a la desorientación. Para este congreso trato de presentar el análisis de ciertas estructuras de creación plástica y visual donde el concepto de liminalidad está presente y conduce a una dudosa materialización del producto artístico. En esta ponencia Trataré de analizar, con diferentes ejemplos y referencias, los resortes del proceso creativo-plástico que generan, a través de la práctica artística, un lugar infinitamente maleable y extraño, donde el mediador o signo representacional es emplazado por uno verdadero y propio, una subjetividad que indica la combinación de exclusiones, donde el no paisaje, la no arquitectura conforma la deixes, como denomina Rosalind Krauss, a esa serie de desplazamientos que conforman las estructuras axiomáticas de la propia reconstrucción parcial, de un emplazamiento señalado que es recreado mediante la propia experiencia, como si fuese un espejo.
