Abstract

[EN] In the beginning was the man. And the man became nomad and curious, started to abstract and to build mathematical equations generating devices and myths. And among many inventions were things like shelters for himself and the gods. And since “geometry and the gods sit together”[1], the man allowed himself to be encircled and squared, becoming a homo ad circulum ad quadratum. Circle’s rotation in space generated a sphere and the square inside turned into a cube. The cube in turn became boîte a miracle, when the homo vitruvianus inside became modern.

[ES] En un principio fue el hombre. El hombre que se convirtió en nómada y curioso, se puso a abstraer y construir ecuaciones matemáticas generando ingenios y mitos. Y de entre tantas invenciones estaban cosas como refugios para sí mismo y para los dioses. Y porque “la geometría y los dioses están juntos”1, el hombre se dejó circunscribir y encuadrar volviéndose un homo ad circulum ad quadratum. La rotación del círculo en el espacio generó una esfera y el cuadrado dentro de ella se hizo cubo. El cubo a su vez se hizo “boîte a miracle”, cuando el homo vitruvianus en su interior se hizo moderno.
