Abstract

[EN] The present rehabilitation works contemplates the building of the Palace as a whole despite the recent additions, so as to avoid, in the words of the architect, the usual doing and undoing which is so common in this country. The next few pages show some sensitive detailed drawings and an intervention in which we must underline the recuperation of the wonderful finishes, colours and materials that constitute a very important contribution to our knowledge of 19th century interiors in Spain.

[ES] La presente actuación de rehabilitación actúa considerando el edificio como un conjunto a pesar de los recientes añadidos de que ha sido objeto, para evitar, según el arquitecto, la habitual labor de hacer y deshacer tan frecuente en este país. Las páginas que siguen muestran unos dibujos sensibles y muy minuciosos de la fase de proyecto y una intervención de la que conviene destacar la recuperación de espléndidos acabados, colores y materiales que constituyen un aporte muy importante al conocimiento de los interiores del siglo XIX en España.
