RETABLO DE SAN ANDRÉS DE LA IGLESIA NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA PURIFCACIÓN.ESTUDIO HISTÓRICO- TÉCNICO Y ANÁLISIS DEL ESTADO DE CONSERVACIÓN

Abstract

[EN] This paper presents the Marouflage of the parish of St. Bartholomew Apostle of Godella. carrying out various studies and research, which demonstrate the material nature and the conceptual meaning of the work, with the intention to make a proper proposal of intervention and a subsequent preventive conservation. With respect to the material of the work, we describe several aspects of the work itself, such as: the technical procedure of the marouflage, emphasizing the possible risk factors that may affect the conservation status of the work. Analysis and study of samples of the work; Visual examination of the State of conservation of the work, their possible alterations and environmental conditions in which has, in relation to the thermo-hygrometrics parameters. In relation to the conceptual level of the work begins to make a historical tour of the era and the parish to understand the reason for its creation, delving into the figure of the author, José Corell, master and painter with some recognition in the godellense mid-20th-century society. In addition, it has deepened in symbolism and iconography found in the pictorial representation, besides to its formal characteristics and materials. On the other hand, it has explored the linkage of the pictorial work with the town of Godella. Through a series of interviews we have obtained to extract the main values that owns this artwork in connection with the inhabitants of this municipality. All of these factors is presented a specific proposal of intervention and an approach to preventive conservation for the right livelihood and protection of the work.

[ES] En este trabajo se presenta el marouflage del Templo Parroquial de San Bartolomé Apóstol, llevándose a cabo diversos estudios e investigaciones, que ponen de manifiesto el carácter material y el sentido conceptual de la obra, con la intención de realizar una correcta propuesta de intervención y una posterior conservación preventiva. Respecto al plano material de la obra se describen varios aspectos relevantes de la misma, como son: la técnica pictórica del marouflage, enfatizando los posibles factores de riesgo que pueden afectar al estado de conservación de la obra; análisis y estudio de muestras extraídas de la obra; examen visual del estado de conservación de la obra, sus posibles alteraciones y las condiciones ambientales en las que se haya, en relación con los parámetros termohigrométricos. En relación al plano conceptual de la obra se comienza haciendo un recorrido histórico de la época y de la parroquia para entender el motivo de su creación, Indagando brevemente en la figura de su autor, José Corell. Asimismo, se ha profundizado en el simbolismo e iconografía que se encuentra en la representación pictórica además de sus características formales y materiales Por otra parte, se ha explorado la vinculación de la obra pictórica con la población de Godella. Mediante una serie de entrevistas se han conseguido extraer los principales valores que posee esta creación en conexión con los habitantes de este municipio. Atendiendo a todos estos factores se presenta una determinada propuesta de intervención y un planteamiento de conservación preventiva para la correcta subsistencia y protección de la obra.
