[EN] This project has consisted of developing and implementing the automation of an industrial process composed of three different subprocesses and coordinated with each other to allow the manipulation, classification and corresponding processing of pieces. To carry out these tasks, the following Fischertechnik models of educational use has been required: a robot arm capable of handling pieces by vacuum aspiration in a three-dimensional space, a classifier depending on the type of piece and a station with oven and milling machine treatment.
The automatism implementation has been carried out with PLCs, more specifically the Schneider TSX Premium models, which have been programmed using the Unity Pro M software to achieve the desired performance. Due to limitations, it has been necessary to use two PLCs conveniently communicated through an Ethernet TCP / IP network to control the three subprocesses.
Finally, the implementation of a SCADA application has been addressed by means of the LabVIEW program that allows, remotely and in real time, on the one hand, to visualize a simplified diagram of the entire process and, on the other hand, to manage its operation by a control panel that includes functions such as configuration of different modes or warning by alarms of potential problems with pieces. To do this, the program has used the variables of interest previously distributed to network through an OPC server.
