Core de Tinta, un corto de animación

Abstract

[ES] Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado teórico y práctico trata de abarcar las diferentes fases de la producción para un tráiler de un corto de animación 2D, desde la concepción de la idea hasta la realización de la misma, culminando en la producción de un teaser promocional. Este proyecto está enfocado hacia el ámbito profesional de la industria de la animación, buscando ser un trabajo que pueda formar parte del portfolio personal del artista y más adelante ser concluido como cortometraje independiente para su muestra en festivales de animación.

Core de Tinta cuenta la historia de Inka, una tupida y rebelde pluma de escribir que se opone a las creencias de su tribu y su obsesión con las líneas rectas. Con el afán de no limitar su expresión artística, Inka viaja en secreto a las playas de papel, donde se dedica a llenar el suelo con todas aquellas líneas reprimidas que no puede mostrar a su sociedad. En una de estas escapadas conoce a Tara, una gota de color pequeña e ingenua a la que enamora con su obra. Pintando juntas en lo que casi parece un baile, descubrirán lo inaudito: línea y mancha crean dibujos en movimiento; animación.

[EN] This final year theoretical and practical report consists of the realization of a 2D animated short-film, starting with the conception of the idea and finishing with the production of the film, culminating in the production of a promotional teaser. This project is focused on the animation industry and its workplace with the objective of being part of the artist¿s personal portfolio and, in the future, be concluded as an independet short-film with the aim of showing it in animation festivals.

Core de Tinta tells the story of Inka, a dense and rebel quill that opposes her tribe beliefs and their obsession with straight lines. Eager to do not restrict the freedom of the form of her artistic expression, Inka travels in secret to the paper beaches, where she draws each one of the lines that she cannot show to her society. In one of these getaways she meets Tara, a little and naïve color drop who falls in love with her work. Painting together in what seem almost a dance, they will discover the unheard-of: lines and spots create drawings in movement; animation.
