Abstract

Con el presente trabajo, se abordará la problemática de la relación entre ser humano con la naturaleza en el siglo XXI y, en particular, la extinción y vulnerabilidad de especies y subespecies de la Península Ibérica. Dicho proyecto abordará este tema con un objetivo principal de sensibilización y acción social a través de la ilustración con el fin de crear conciencia sobre la extinción y proponer una iniciativa artística para ayudar a preservar nuestras especies endémicas, concretamente, el urogallo cantábrico. En relación a la pieza final, la obra consistirá de un packaging de cartón reciclado que contendrá dos sacos de tela de lienzo, en los que irán impresas dos ilustraciones. En uno de ellos, relleno de tierra, encontraremos la especie animal con una corona de flores pertenecientes al hábitat en el que vive. Por otro lado, habrá un saco de menor tamaño con una ilustración del arándano, y en su interior podremos encontrar semillas de dicha especie, acompañadas por un manual de uso que explique cómo cultivarlas en la tierra del otro envase y una breve explicación del proyecto. El objetivo principal del proyecto es el de lanzar una campaña por una plataforma de conservación del medio como bird life, y el dinero neto de cada pieza irá destinado directamente a preservar esta especie endémica.
