ESTUDIO COMPARATIVO DE CERÁMICAS DE LOS YACIMIENTOS DE ÉPOCA ROMANA DE SAN GREGORI, EL PALAU Y EL MARJALET DE BURRIANA E INTERVENCIÓN RESTAURATIVA DE UNA DE ELLAS

Abstract

Durante las últimas décadas, se han encontrado infinidad de yacimientos de los subsuelos del mundo, estos han contribuido a un mayor interés por las culturas antecesoras o sociedades del pasado, con el objetivo de recuperar cualquier evidencia e información que nos acerque más a el pasado.

Este Trabajo Final de Máster se centra en la investigación, estudio, evaluación y restauración de una pieza de cerámica que se ha hallado en un vertedero romano , ¿El Marjalet¿ situados entre el yacimiento arqueológico de época romana de Sant Gregori y el yacimiento, también romano, de El Palau en el término muncipal de Burriana, en Castellón, con el fin de contextualizarlo históricamente en uno de los dos yacimientos.

Para este estudio se han escogido una pieza de cerámica encontrada en dicha zona con el fin de conseguir investigar su origen, examinando su pasta cerámica y comparándola con varias de ambos yacimientos, como también hacer una restauración exhaustiva, para su posterior exposición en el Museo de Arqueología de Burriana.

During the last decades, we have found countless deposits of the subsoil of the world, these have contributed to a greater interest by the ancestral cultures or societies of the past, with the objective of recovering any evidence and information that brings us closer to the past.

This Master¿s Final project focuses on the research, study, evaluation and restoration of a piece of pottery that has been found in a roman dump, ¿El Marjalet¿ located between the Roman archaeological site of Sant Gregori and the site, also Roman, of El Palau in municipality of Burriana, in Castellón, in order to contextualize it historically in one of the two sites.

For this study we have chosen a piece of pottery found in that area in order to get to investigate its origin, examining its ceramic paste and comparing it with several of both sites, as well as making an exhaustive restoration, for later exposition in the Museum of Archeology of Burriana.
