Camins al Mar. Retrat fotogràfic d'un paisatge habitat

Abstract

[EN] In “ROADS TO THE SEA. Photographic Portrait of an Inhabited Landscape”, I tell with pictures a part of my origin landscape, a space of valencian orchard, a culture that is evolution of another cultures, leaving a physical print on this territory. Through photography I’m going picking up that wich points to the intangible, to the thought that made them. I meet again with spaces of my past, currently transformed, that are part of my vital memory. But I don’t have graphical memories of them. At that moment I asked myself…could photography as a document reflects history and identity of a place and to establish a dialogical relationship with the represented reality?

[ES] En “CAMINS AL MAR. Retrat fotogràfic d’un paisatge habitat”, narro visualmente retazos de mi lugar de origen, un espacio de la huerta valenciana, una cultura que es a su vez evolución de otras que la precedieron y dejaron su huella física sobre el territorio. A través de la fotografía voy recogiendo aquello que señala hacia lo intangible, hacia el pensamiento que las produjo y me reencuentro con espacios de mi pasado, transformados actualmente, que forman parte de mi memoria vital pero de los que no poseo memoria gráfica1 Es entonces cuando me pregunto, ¿podría la fotografía como documento reflejar la historia y la identidad de un lugar y establecer una relación dialógica con la propia realidad representada?
