Mobiliario modular para el interior de un aeropuerto

Abstract

[ES] El promotor de este proyecto es el Nuevo Aeropuerto de Salt Lake City en Utah (EE.UU.) y el objetivo principal es diseñar una colección de mobiliario modular y multifuncional, que cumpla los requisitos de materiales para la consecución de un certificado LEVEL. Para llegar a la solución formal se ha realizado encuestas, un estudio de campo y se ha analizado los productos de la competencia. También se ha visitado el emplazamiento para detectar carencias e intentar solucionarlas. En base al Pliego de Condiciones Inicial y al Estudio de Mercado se han definido las funciones que debe cumplir el producto. Y con ello, se ha comenzado la fase de ideación realizando bocetos que cumplieran los requisitos. Para la selección de la mejor propuesta se ha utilizado un VTP. Con el diseño final se ha conseguido que todos los módulos superen los requisitos de poseer mínimo un 30% de material biodegradable y/o reciclado, y no superar el 20% de material no orgánico. Un aspecto importante es conseguir un certificado LEVEL, por este motivo los materiales son biodegradables y/o reciclados. Este certificado garantiza la consecución de hasta 100 puntos para las calificaciones LEED GOLD, que el promotor espera conseguir para 2024.

[EN] The promoter of this project is the New Airport of Salt Lake City in Utah (USA) and the main objective is to design a multifunctional and modular furniture collection that meets the requirements of materials in pursuit of a LEVEL certification. In order to achieve the formal solution, surveys and market research have been conducted and competitor products have been analyzed. Furthermore, the location has been examined so as to detect deficiencies attempting/with the intention of to solve them. Based on the initial product specification and the market research, the fulfillment of the functions of the product have been defined. Thus, the ideation phase has been started with the realization of sketches to comply the requirements. To select the best proposal, a TVP has been used. The final design has achieved that all the modules exceed the requirements of having a minimum of 30% of biodegradable and/or recycled material and not exceeding a 20% of inorganic material. An important aspect is to achieve the LEVEL certification and for this reason the materials are biodegradable and/or recycled material. This certification guarantees the achievement of obtaining up to 100 points for the LEED GOLD certification, which the promoter expects to achieve by 2024.
