Analysis of urban and social environment of Veendam Noord neighborhood for proposal of improve of the district according to future trends

[ES] Trabajo fin de grado (TFG) en que se realiza el análisis urbano de un barrio en Holanda y su conexión con intervenciones futuras en aspectos edificatorios y urbanos pero también en lo concerniente a necesidades sociales. Siempre desde el punto de vista de la sostenibilidad. Este TFG se basa en la reurbanización del barrio de Veendam Noord. En pimer lugar, se estudian otras reurbanizaciones, como la que se llevó a cabo en Hamburgo con Hafencity. A continuación, se diseña un esquema de procesos con el que realizar los trabajos. Asi mismo, se analiza la infraestructura del barrio, su conexión con el centro de la ciudad y se investiga, por otro lado, a la población, indagando qué opinión tienen sobre el barrio y sus servicios y qué les gustaría mejorar, todo ello a fin de conocer el barrio e identificar sus puntos flojos y sus puntos fuertes. Una vez se conoce el barrio, el enfoque radica en pensar hacia el futuro, qué posibles tendencias se acercan y qué probabilidad hay de que se ejecuten, intentando intuir cómo será el escenario de Veendam Noord para prepararlo para el cambio. Finalmente, se busca una solución y se plantean medidas que podrían llevarse a cabo para solucionar los problemas actuales de Veendam Noord y evitar problemas futuros.

[EN] The focus of this Final Degree Project is the urban analysis of a neighborhood in the Netherlands and its connection with future interventions at the building level, urban level and social needs, all from the point of view of sustainability. This TFG is based on the redevelopment of the Veendam Noord neighborhood. For this purpose, the analysis of other redevelopments is carried out, such as the one that occurred in Hamburg with Hafencity neighborhood and a process diagram is designed to carry out the work. To know the neighborhood and identify its weak points and its strengths, we will analyze the infrastructure of the neighborhood and its connection to the city center. On the other hand, we will investigate the population, knowing their opinion about the neighborhood, the services that they have, that they would like to improve ... Once we know the neighborhood we focus more on thinking about the future, what possible trends are coming and what is the probability that they are carried out trying to intuit how will the scenario of Veendam Noord to prepare it for the change. Finally, a solution is sought and measures are proposed that could be carried out to solve the current problems of Veendam Noord and avoid future problems.
