VOLVER.Primer movimiento: pausa. Segundo movimiento: memoria

Abstract

[ES] Volver es un proyecto artístico que pretende madurar un proceso de trabajo, tanto pictórico como conceptual, en torno a la pausa, al silencio, a la contemplación de los espacios íntimos y cotidianos con una mirada sensible. Una primera pausa, que permite crear un estado de contemplación del hogar, da pie al Primer Movimiento, una serie pictórica que no busca contar grandes cosas, sino acercarse a un espacio personal desde la humildad, desde el sentir ese lugar a través de una pintura lenta y contemplativa. Siguiendo las palabras de Pablo D'Ors: "El silencio es solo el marco o el contexto que posibilita todo lo demás. ¿Y qué es todo lo demás? Lo sorprendente es que no es nada, nada en absoluto. La vida misma que transcurre. Claro que digo nada pero muy bien podría también decir todo. Tras este estado de pausa o Primer Movimiento, se pretende crear una segunda serie, o Segundo Movimiento, en el que son protagonistas las memorias que guardan y rebrotan de estos objetos y espacios personales al ser contemplados. En esta segunda fase no sólo entra dentro el concepto del recuerdo sino también el del olvido. Dos etapas diferentes de un proceso de acercamiento al imaginario de lo íntimo: el hogar, los objetos cotidianos y viejos álbumes familiares. Dos movimientos que, aunque parten de un mismo contexto, hablan de cosas diferentes y, por tanto, precisan de diferentes recursos plásticos para ser contados.

[EN] Return is an artistic project that aims to develop a process of working, both pictorial and conceptual, around the pause, the silence, the contempla on of in mate and everyday spaces with a sensitive look. A first pause, which allows creating a state of contempla on of the home, gives rise to the First Movement, a pictorial set that does not seek to tell great things, but to approach to a personal space from humility, feeling that place through a slow and contempla ve painting. Following the words of Pablo D'Ors: !Silence is only the framework or context that makes everything else possible. And what is everything else? The surprising thing is that it is nothing, nothing at all. The life itself that passes. Of course I say nothing but I could very well also say everything." A er this state of pause or First Movement, it is intended to create a second set, or Second Movement, in which the memories that keep and rebound of these objects and personal spaces are being protagonists when being contemplated. In this second phase, not only the concept of memory enters but also that of forgetting. Two different stages of a process of approaching the imaginary of the in mate: the home, everyday objects and old family albums. Two movements that, although they start from the same context, talk about different things and, therefore, require different plastic resources to be counted.
